Product Description Bionaire BW2300 Twin Window Fan with Remote Control. With a remote control for convenient adjustment, this double window fan draws in fresh, cool air from the outside or exhausts stale, hot air from inside. It can also do both simultaneously, because each of the two fans can be set independently to draw in or exhaust out, allowing the unit to exchange inside and outside air.
Amazon.com Review With a remote control for convenient adjustment, this double window fan draws in fresh, cool air from the outside or exhausts stale, hot air from inside. It can also do both simultaneously, because each of the two fans can be set independently to draw in or exhaust out, allowing the unit to exchange inside and outside air. Operable either manually or automatically--with its thermostat turning the fans off and on to maintain a selected temperature--the unit has three speeds, electronic controls, and an LCD screen showing the selected temperature and the room temperature. The remote control (two AAA batteries are included) alters speed, manual/automatic operation, air-flow direction, and temperature. The twin fan is designed to fit double-hung, vertical-slider, and casement windows. A built-in 7-inch extender and two 3-inch extenders permit custom fitting for windows from 24 to 37 inches wide. Because the unit is lightweight plastic it can be moved easily from room to room. The fans have six blades and measure 8-1/2 inches in diameter. Overall, the unit is 13 inches high, arrives fully assembled, and carries a five-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Quiet September 4, 2010 Denis Altudov (Redmond, WA) This is a very quiet fan, which justifies for me the price difference to your garden variety noisy $20 fan.
I don't like that it stops when the temperature is below 60, but it doesn't bug me that much.
The overall effectiveness and performance of the Bionaire BW2300 August 31, 2010 Code1 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have experienced overall satisfaction with the user-friendliness, the available features, and the effective performance of both of the units I had purchased through Amazon. Not only did I feel that it was worth the cost with "no tax and no shipping/handling" charges applied, but the at-the-door delivery was very expeditious having received each seperate shipment on the third and fifth day with the weekend included. This is a testimony of complete customer satisfaction and earned business in the making; with appreciation...

Love, love, love this fan!!!! August 6, 2010 betsymc2_seattle 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I recently ordered this fan to replace a 5+ yr old Holmes 2 speed, manually reversible. I could not be happier! The fan is quiet and packs a mighty motor. The features are astounding. Last night I slept with it on the thermostat, never even heard it turn off and on. Its so much quieter than my Holmes cheapy, and it is a true luxury to adjust air flow without having to turn the fan around, and a remote control to boot! I have not experienced the thermostat heating from the motor. I love this fan! I can't wait to save enough to order a second one so I don't have to move this one from my living room to bedroom. Great product, great value, highly recommend.
big fan of the fan August 5, 2010 Cbots 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've pretty much had this thing running non-stop in a window since I got it. The fans are powerful and draw plenty of air either in, out, or through an exchange. I can't wait for fall when I can pull outside evening air into my unit. So far, it's great!
