When Propper committed to developing Tactical Pants they did so with the single mission of offering the highest quality, most functional Tactical Trousers on the market at the lowest possible price. 5.11 did a nice job adapting an alpine climbing pant for tactical use, but Propper Tactical Pants were designed from the ground up for the demands of law enforcement. While cotton has its applications, Propper realized that making the most durable Tactical Pants around was not one of them. Instead they chose a superior polyester / cotton blend to withstand the daily abuses inherent with service in the line of duty. And because you're more comfortable with a weapon in your hand than an ironing board, these pants were designed to be wrinkle and fade resistant. They topped off these beauties with a DupontTeflontreatment making them one the most functional trousers on the planet. Basic pants, durable, wrinkle-proof September 10, 2010

This is my first time I've ever purchased pants online. In the local stores I couldn't find my size, so I decided to give it a try.
I'm impressed by the fit and finish of these pants. They are stiff but comfortable. They do not wrinkle and out of the box I was able to wear them. Ample pockets with velcro closures are quite useful. There is a metal ring in front which is perfect to attach a carabiner for keys (though having it on the side does minimize key swing when you walk). It also shipped with a web belt which was a bonus. Not a very heavy belt, but by itself the belt is $8.

Simply said, these pants rock! The fit is true to size and the added elastic waist is a nice touch. As an ER nurse, I'm grateful to have the protection of Teflon (yes, it works!) as well as the comfort all shift. Continues to look professional after many washings without color fade. An interesting note: the front pockets are soft--like velvet. Makes me smile. Just thought you'd like to know.

Excellent pant, extra roomy back pockets. Small side pocket holds my cell phone, heavy duty belt loops, and wallet pocket inside back pocket are great extras. Goes very well with the Tactical Shirt.

Unbelievable look, feel, and weight to these pants. They have a professional, high-quality feel at an awesome price. They arrived 5 days prior to Amazon's estimated delivery date from Cat5 Commerce! Regarding the size, remember they have elastic in the waistband. I wear 34 or 36 waist pants and I purchased a 36 and they fit perfectly. As I'm wearing them now, I can say that the waist size is after the elastic is stretched. For example, the 36 waist probably fits closer to a 35, or even a 34 without any stretch on the elastic. I recommend these pants, and will likely purchase Propper clothing again in the future.

Just really great pants, they have pockets on the side so I don't have to sit on my wallet and hurt my leg nerves. The waist is elastic. I'd definately buy more pairs.
